STUDENT ALTO SAXOPHONES

Yamaha YAS-23 Alto Saxophones

We have a good selection of pre-owned Yamaha student alto
saxophones. In our opinion, Yamaha makes the best student
saxophones available. They play easily, and in tune. They are
well constructed and hold up over time.

Our pre-owned Yamahas are "certified" used instruments.
This means that they have been completely dis-assembled and
cleaned. During the reassembly, we replace any pads, corks,
springs or felts that are worn. It is then lubricated, regulated
and adjusted so that it plays correctly. All our "certified" used
saxophones come with a one-year warranty. A new Yamaha
YAS-26 lists for well over $2,000. We sell our pre-owned
Yamahas for $850.

Vito (Yamaha) Alto Saxophones
We also have a selection of used Vito student alto saxophones.
These Vitos were made by Yamaha and are identical to the YAS-23.
Yamaha manufactures them in Japan, then "stencils" the name Vito
onto the bell. We can buy them a bit cheaper than Yamahas, so we
pass on the savings to you. Our pre-owned Vitos sell for
$750

	We have a good selection of pre-owned Yamaha student tenor saxophones. In our opinion, Yamaha makes the best student saxophones available. They play easily, and in tune. SAXOPHONES
When it comes to student saxophones, we're partial to Yamaha products.
They're well made, play in tune, and feel "right" in the hands of the player. Some
Vito saxophones were made by Yamaha, who put the Vito name on them. This is known as a
"stencil". These Vito saxophones are stamped "Made in Japan" and are identical to Yamaha in
nearly every detail. We like these Yamaha/Vitos as we can usually purchased them for slightly
less than the Yamaha nameplate, a savings we can pass on to you! For more information, read

SPECIALS

Sometimes we take in a Yamaha or Vito saxophone that is "cosmetically challenged", that is,
kind of ugly: lots of scratches, large areas of lacquer wear, evidence of soldering repairs or
major dent-work. Other saxes come in that are not Yamaha or Vito, but play well enough to
make decent student instruments. We offer these horns at discounted prices. Check with us
to see what we currently have in stock. If you're not concerned with cosmetics or brand name,
you could walk away with a very playable saxophone at a great price!
