Alto Flutes

Haynes Alto Flute, #27605.  Beautiful solid silver alto flute, made by
Haynes in 1958.  Thinwall, lightweight body allows the flute to speak
easily  and lessens the stress of holding a large flute.  Elegant
keywork, silken tone.  Haynes no longer makes an alto flute, so here is
a fairly rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest alto flutes ever

Antique and Unusual Flutes and Piccolos
Hammerschmidt "Klingson' Ebony Flute #3403.  Hammerschmidt
made flutes inGermany starting around 1873.  This "Klingson: model
was produced sometime after WWII, when the company moved to
Bergau, West Germany.  Beautiful grenadilla wood Boehm system
flute with unique "reform" headjoint lip plate.  Unique.

Haynes & Co "Bay State" Wooden Flute.  Made by John C. Haynes (no
relation to Wm. S. Haynes) for the Oliver Ditson Company.  Late 1800's
to early 1900's.  Beautiful wood (possibly rosewood?) Boehm System
flute.    Missing its left hand crutch.  Will need some restoration.  
Cracks in head joint.  Please see the
photos.
