Selmer "Balanced Tone" Clarinet #N7254. This vintage clarinet was made in the early 1950's. Selmer Balanced Tone clarinets are considered to be one of the "ultimate Jazz horns," and the sound quality is a bit different from its contemporaries, but its mellowness is great for swing ballads. Recently overhauled with new synthetic pads and corks. Pics

Buffet Clarinet #49676. Buffet released the R-13 in 1955. This clarinet was made in 1954. It's widely believed that Buffet was experimenting with the R-13 in the years leading up to its release. This clarinet has a poly-cylindrical bore which is characteristic of the R-13. We think it's an R-13... It's scheduled for an overhaul. Pics
