How To Purchase An Instrument From
Tim Moran Woodwinds
Is it in stock?
Our instruments cannot be purchased directly from our web-site.  Because we deal exclusively in vintage and
pre-owned woodwinds, we cannot guarantee that an instrument is in stock.  Check with us first.  Certified
Yamaha student horns are almost always in stock, but occasionally we run out.  Check with us first.  The
easiest way to check is to
Contact Us.  We'll let you know if we have it and, if we don't, when we will be
getting it in.

How do I pay for it?
If we have what you're looking for, you can pay for it several ways.
1. Personal Check.  We are happy to accept your personal check.  If you come in to the shop to buy directly,
we will simply ask for your drivers licence for security purposes.  If you mail your check in, it will have to clear
our bank account (2-3 days) before we will ship an instrument to you.

2. PayPal.  Though we do not accept credit cards directly, you can use PayPal to pay for your purchase
using a credit card or bank debit.   Setting up a PayPal account is easy and secure.  Just go to

3. Cash. Of course.  But you'll have to come in to the shop.

Connecticut residents must pay an additional 6% sales tax.  Sorry.

How do I get it?
Shipping.  We ship world-wide.  Shipping and Handling charges will be added to your purchase price.  All
instruments are shipped fully insured.

Direct Pick-Up.  You can come in to our shop and pick up your purchase directly from us.  You can try it in
the shop, and we'll make any fine-tuning adjustments you need.

Can I return it?
In most cases, yes.  You will have a 7-day trial period from the time you pick up or receive your shipped
instrument.  Bring it to your music teacher.  Try it out.  If you are not satisfied, contact us to arrange a full
refund of your purchase price.  The only time our return policy does not apply is for consignment sales.  
Once the consignor has been payed, we cannot accept a return of merchandise.  We will always let you
know in advance if an instrument is a consignment.
